(Un)Common sense?

I do a lot of dealing with clients/customers on a daily basis.. Ranging from the usual 'I lost my email account' to things like 'this system wont respond' and everything in between. I see a lot of things that just make my head spin... 'Did you disable the account myaccount@mydomain.tld?' with reply to as 'myaccount@mydomain.tld' <- even the least tech people would understand that this is dumb.. why would you ask a question about a possibly disabled, non-existant or even malfunctioning system and then use the same information as the system in question as your contact information?

Theres a lot of this, in everything.. I see people staring the answer dead in the face, still asking the same question, people thinking that not recieving a bill for something means that its free.... watching people on the bus blabbering VERY loudly about getting blitzed, or yelling about their baby daddy problems or something of the sort, it always seems to be the same thing and yet not a damn person feels the need to take responsibility for any of their actions, much less take responsibility to make wise decisions... I see 30 year olds still acting 12... TWELVE!!!!! Yet likewise I see 12 year olds acting like little brats... Parenting is a huge part in a kids life, everyone knows this... the point of parenting is to teach your kids the things you learned in hopes they don't make the same mistakes you do... to teach your kids how to respect their elders, even if they don't know the person... All of this... comes down to common sense, if you haven't yet, take a good look around at all the sheep around you, aimlessly sumbling through this life without so much as a care of what they do or even the potential harm or problems it could cause to others around them.
I hear it from other people every day, I see it myself too... Are these people just lacking the 'common sense' we used to have, or have they just stopped caring?
