We are all Lost

A friend, and one of my previous teachers responded to my rant above.. And I thought I'd share what he said, as well as my response.
Exactly! I've been pointing this out to people for years, and all they give me is excuses why it happens. We've been taught it! We've been taught that freedom means - "I'm going to do what I damn-well please, and screw anybody else who doesn't like it!"
We've been pushed to do more and more until we have no other choice but to do two or three things at once, and "Oops. My Bad." if some kind of accident happens because of it.
Most of our lives are twisted around and all mixed up, and the only person we can even get mad at about the whole thing is that old lady in the store aisle who is blocking people with her cart.
You know, I wish people would finally say, "I'm fed up!" and actually gather together and start working toward a better society that doesn't create all this shit.
IMHO.
Ken~
All too true.. Its getting disgusting these days. I am to the point of not wanting to even leave my house because people do so many stupid things that I'm pissed before I get a block away from the house.
Being free isnt about 'doing what you want', I know you know that, and I know that too well.. being free is about following what your dream is, not being obtrusive to people who are not in the same path as you, but in your way, so to speak. I'm tired of seeing how people treat others, its sick and disgusting. I cant understand why people are so compelled to be rude, impatient and, inconsiderate.
I was in the ER with my girlfriend and someone got rude and aggressive at someone because the nurse didnt understand what they were saying. I have been yelled at and raged on for not understanding someone on the phone at work. All because they feel 'put down' by us not understanding their language, even though they can barely understand us just the same.
People need to take a good long look at themselves, and the way they interact with others.. Hate begets hate. Anger begets anger. Do something nice for once, a simple thank you to the person who held the door open for you at a shop. A 'have a nice day' or even a half smile when you leave. Understanding that not everyone is as smart as they seem, and neither is the person doing the part of seeing this. People say they are smart, yet they act so ignorant towards their peers.
Side rant.. Peers.. there is something no one understands. Your peers are the people around you at any time. that means you and your peers are driving to work in the morning, standing in line together... its not just the people you hang out with that you should act kindly toward, its everyone.
People have stopped looking at each other as allies and started seeing everyone as enemies. Have you ever noticed how people look at you when you do something out of the ordinary? Like you're about to murder their first born or them... its sick and disgusting.

People think they are the shit, and the best thing in the world, then wonder why their life is so fucked up.
They act like idiots and expect the world to give them the finest gold on a silver platter, and if that gold has a single speck of dirt on it - buddy, you'd better be ready to run!
Honestly, I'm disgusted with the human race, I pity people because they care not for anyone else in this world...
It's disgustingly revolting!
